NiKa Optics Secures Nearly RMB 100 Million Series A Funding

NiKa Optics, a Chinese holographic technology company, has completed a Series A financing round of nearly RMB 100 million. The funding will support the company's move towards commercial production of volume holographic optical waveguides and accelerate technology development.

The financing round attracted investment from several institutions, including BOC International Investment, Tianjin Binhai Industrial Fund, Gobi Partners, CITIC Securities and Zhuhai Allwinner Technology.

NiKa Optics plans to use the new capital primarily to launch a production line for volume holographic optical waveguides. The company will also invest in further technology development and product iteration.

Established in July 2022, NiKa Optics focuses on volume holographic technology and its industrial applications. Its technology targets emerging optical applications, including AI glasses and vehicle-mounted augmented reality head-up displays (AR-HUDs).
