Orell Füssli Extends Security Printing Momentum Into 2027

Orell Füssli continued its growth trajectory in the first half of 2026, with group revenue increasing to CHF 121.4 million, compared with CHF 120.1 million in the same period last year. However, adjusted EBIT declined to CHF 6.9 million, from CHF 10.2 million, mainly due to a change in the product mix within security printing.

The Security Printing division remained a key contributor to the group. Revenue increased to CHF 48.4 million, compared with CHF 47.3 million in the first half of 2025. The division benefited from a broadly diversified customer portfolio and a strong order book, supporting high capacity utilisation well into 2027.

Adjusted EBIT for Security Printing was CHF 8.5 million, compared with CHF 11.9 million in the previous year. Orell Füssli attributed the decline to less complex orders in the order book during the first half of 2026. Despite the lower earnings, the company continues to see strong underlying demand across its security printing activities.
