Making the Complex Simple: Crane's OptiQor™
Crane Authentication recently launched OptiQor™ DOVIDs (diffractive optically variable image devices), a new solution for brand protection that it says combines advanced optical design, secure manufacturing and flexible integration options for a wide range of product and packaging applications.
The introduction of OptiQor also reflects Crane Authentication's broader effort to bring together capabilities spanning holography, micro-optics (PROFOUND™), digital identity and traceability through the acquisitions of OpSec Security, De La Rue Authentication Business and TruTag Technologies' Smart Packaging assets.
To understand more about OptiQor and its place in the evolving authentication landscape and Crane portfolio, Holography & Optical Technology News® spoke with Jim Keller, Vice President of Technology Innovation and Product Management at Crane Authentication.
Keller described OptiQor not as a single security feature but as a platform that brings together decades of expertise, intellectual property and manufacturing capabilities developed across OpSec and De La Rue.
