UNIVACCO Posts Record H1 Results, Eyes Vietnam Ramp-Up
UNIVACCO Technology has reported record first-half 2026 revenue and profit as it advances plans to bring its new Vietnam manufacturing facility into production in 2027, strengthening its international production network for vacuum metallised films, foils and precision coating materials.
The Taiwan-based manufacturer reported second-quarter revenue of NT$ 979 million ($ 30.4 million), up 29.5% year on year. First-half revenue reached NT$ 1.75 billion, an increase of 16.8% compared with the same period in 2025.
Profit growth was also strong. Second-quarter net income rose to NT$ 138.2 million, more than doubling from NT$ 69.1 million a year earlier. First-half net income climbed 23.5% to NT$224.4 million, while basic earnings per share increased to NT$ 2.40 from NT$ 1.93.
UNIVACCO attributed the growth to continued orders from branded customers in North America, strong demand for premium collectible trading cards and an improved product mix. Its proprietary chemical formulations, vacuum metallising technologies and precision coating capabilities have supported growing demand for cold foil and higher-value laser cold foil products, helping expand the company's North American market presence.
