NANOSILIKHAN Selected for Korea’s K-Brand Protection Programme

NANOSILIKHAN Advanced Materials (formerly known as NANOBRICK), in consortium with INOFRIENDS, has been selected as an authentication technology provider for Korea’s 2026 K-Brand Government Certification Programme.

K-Brand is a government initiative designed to protect Korean brands from counterfeiting in global markets. The certification mark is planned for registration in 73 countries, covering major export destinations and markets where counterfeit distribution poses a significant risk.

The programme comes as Korea faces an estimated $9.7 billion in annual losses from counterfeit Korean goods, signalling a more coordinated, state-led approach to protecting K-Brands as they expand internationally.

The partnership combines INOFRIENDS’ digital watermark technology with NANOSILIKHAN’s MTX security material technology. Together, the technologies create a multi-layer authentication approach that connects digital identification with physical anti-counterfeiting features.
